Nepal RWSSP II: 11th Implementation Support Missio

Summary::World Bank/International Development Association carried out 11th Implementation Support Mission of Nepal: Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project II (RWSSP II) during 07 - 18 Dec 2009. The Mission met and interacted with officials from NPC, MoF, MPPW and RWSSFDB. Field visits were conducted to Sindhuli, Dhankuta and Jhapa districts to interact with the SOs and WSUGs/Communities. Final debriefing was held at MPPW on 18 Dec 2009 in the Chair ship of MPPW Secretary Mr. Deep Basnyat. The Mission has expressed satisfaction on overall progress of the RWSSP II so far. During the Mission, several points are agreed upon as measures to further improvement in the project performance. Final Aide Memoiré of the 11th Mission will be available by first half of Feb 2010. Next Mission is planned for May 2010.
